About Us

Twenty-eight years in the field. Still building what the industry needs.

Charthouse delivers integrated radiation monitoring systems trusted by nuclear, defence, and healthcare organisations across four continents. We're engineers and operators, not resellers — and we've been doing this since before most of our competitors were founded.

We build new technology because people rely on us to keep them safe wherever radiation plays a role in their world - that responsibility guides every decision we make

Charthouse was formed in Poole, Dorset in 1998 with a clear purpose: to build radiation monitoring systems that actually work in the environments they're deployed in — not adapted from generic hardware, not retrofitted from adjacent industries. In 2005, growing demand from US nuclear operators and federal facilities led to the establishment of Charthouse Data Management LLC in Georgia. Today, with operations on both sides of the Atlantic, we serve clients across nuclear, defence, and healthcare — from Sellafield and EDF Energy in the UK to the US DOE, Southern Nuclear, and the US Navy.We hold ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certification. Our systems are field-proven. Our support is direct.

The people behind the systems

Charthouse is led by people who came up through the industry — engineers, operators, and technical specialists who understand what radiation protection managers actually need from a monitoring partner.

WHAT WE STAND FOR
Built on four things we don't compromise on.
01
Customer Focus
Every system we build starts with the operational reality of the people who will use it. We're not in the business of adapting generic products. We're in the business of solving specific problems.
02
Accountability
We deliver what we say we will. In environments where monitoring data is safety-critical, that's not a value proposition — it's the baseline.
03
Respect
We work alongside radiation protection teams, facility managers, and engineers. We treat their expertise and their constraints with the seriousness they deserve.
04
Excellence
Quality without compromise. In hardware specification, software development, and the ongoing support relationships that matter most to our clients.
