RadSight
Dosimetry and Radiation Monitoring Software Platform

Description
RadSight is Charthouse's proprietary software platform for radiation monitoring, dosimetry management, and controlled area access control. It is a modular system — deployable as software only on existing hardware, or integrated with Charthouse's purpose-built terminals including the RadSat 3 rapid deployment unit, RDR-460 access control station, and RadSight Industrial and Medical Terminals.
At its core, RadSight manages the complete EPD issue and return cycle: assigning dosimeters to workers and tasks, recording entry and exit times, logging accumulated dose, and generating reports for regulatory compliance. The platform scales from a single-terminal installation in a hospital imaging suite to enterprise-wide deployment across multiple nuclear sites with offline resilience and single sign-on integration.
RadSight is fully compatible with Thermo Fisher Scientific and Mirion dosimetry infrastructure — facilities do not need to standardise their EPD fleet to deploy RadSight. Supported devices include EPD TruDose, RadFlash PM1630, EPD MKII, RadEye, and DMC. It runs on Charthouse hardware including the RadSat 3, RDR-460 access control station, and RadSight Industrial and Medical Terminals, and integrates with Gatekeeper for complete controlled area management.
Key Features
RadSight Access — dosimetry issue, return, and reporting
The core dosimetry module. Assigns EPDs to workers and tasks via an issue and return process, records time of entry and exit, logs accumulated dose, and produces compliance reports for regulatory submission. Designed for health physicists managing worker exposure in hospitals and nuclear facilities. RadSight Access is the foundation on which all higher tiers build — every deployment starts here, regardless of scale.
RadSight Live — real-time team dose monitoring
Provides a live graphical display of dose and dose rate data for an entire monitored team on a single screen. Coloured bars highlight when individual dose limits are approached or exceeded, enabling immediate intervention. Historical data is retained for analysis and reporting. Used in nuclear outage work, hospital fluoroscopy suites, and emergency response scenarios where real-time exposure visibility is operationally critical.
RadSight Pro — access control for large facilities
Extends RadSight Access with access control capability for large facilities. Adds user-configurable roles and permissions, company and department allocation for reporting, qualifications management, task authorisation, PDF display of task requirements at point of issue, and custom user messages aligned to organisational processes. Suitable for facilities with complex access control requirements and multi-department workforce management.
RadSight Enterprise — site-wide oversight with offline resilience
The highest tier, designed for multi-site nuclear utilities, defence facilities, and large healthcare organisations where continuous availability and deep system integration are mandatory requirements. Adds offline mode for uninterrupted operation during network outages — access control and dosimetry management continue even when the network is unavailable. Also includes single sign-on integration using enterprise credentials, event configuration for instant alerts on unexpected conditions, and custom prompts to guide EPD issue processes.
RadSight iD — radiological asset lifecycle management
A dedicated asset tracking module for managing the complete lifecycle of radiation monitoring instruments, sources, and critical equipment. Tracks location and status of instruments, records calibration, routine testing, maintenance operations, and issue and de-issue events. Provides a comprehensive instrument database with status visibility across the facility. For facilities managing large instrument inventories across multiple buildings or sites, RadSight iD provides the audit trail required to demonstrate regulatory compliance at inspection.
Software-only deployment or fully integrated — RadSight works either way
RadSight operates as a software-only deployment on existing customer hardware, or integrates with Charthouse's purpose-built terminals and monitoring stations. Compatible with Thermo Fisher Scientific and Mirion dosimetry infrastructure, supporting mixed EPD fleets without requiring standardisation of hardware.
